Dr. Lenore Morrissey takes Blue Cross of Idaho and Regence Blue Shield (including Federal plans). Questions regarding out of state Blue insurance plan reimbursement can be submitted to her billing company for benefits as well as for out-of-network insurance plans. Please ask about fee for service (cash-pay) discounts. Myofunctional Therapy by itself is not recognized as a reimbursable expense at this time by any insurance, however when paired with physical therapy services provided by Dr. Morrissey such as neuro muscular re-education can be billed and reimbursed. The type of treatment you receive is based on professional judgement - not on the scope of your insurance coverage. It would not be in your best interest for the provider to compromise the needed treatment to accommodate insurance company limitations.

 

Dr. Morrissey strives to keep the cost both efficient and manageable and is willing to work with you to spread out treatments, if appropriate. Dr. Morrissey will work with you to determine possible alternative treatment plans to fit your financial circumstances, but you should not put your health at risk as a way to cut short-term costs. Dr. Morrissey will offer a second opinion regarding any applicable treatment recommendations within your insurance model to facilitate your care.

As a service to you, Dr. Morrissey will supply  you with a "super bill" that you can present to your insurance company for reimbursement when requested,
 
If you direct the insurance company to pay its share of the cost directly to Dr. Morrissey, you will receive credit for this amount when payment is made and it will be reflected on your statement.

Payment (including co-pays) is due at the time of service. Dr. Morrissey accepts cash, check, credit card (including HSA cards), Venmo, Paypal, and Zelle. Subsequent balances due after insurance billing will be sent via email or electronic health record portals which accepts credit card payments virtually.
